Insurance Operations Associate III

Job Description
The Insurance Operations Associate lll is responsible for facilitating achievement of service level agreements by mentoring peers, reviewing, verifying and processing complex insurance-related documentation and updating system of record as required.
Key Responsibilities
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Perform all of the duties and responsibilities of a Senior Operations Representative when presented with documents to process or research.
-
Resolve complex, regulatory lender placed insurance policy and coverage exceptions, ensuring continuous insurance coverage, regulatory timings are met, and coverage is ordered at the required lender amounts.

Correct out of synch conditions between multiple servicing systems.
-
Problem solve, research, and resolve loan level inquiries, audits, correspondence, and complaints.
-
Provide detailed chronologies of identified errors and processing gaps to management.
-
Process non-standard client specific processes or special services, outside of document processing.
-
Provide lender placed premium and refund quotes.
-
Communicate directly with clients, borrowers, and auditors on results and inquiries, maintaining a professional relationship at all times.
-
Accurately track and record volumes received and completed within manual production and service level agreement tracking systems to ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
-
Coordinates additional resources within the team as needed to ensure high risk items are completed within SLA.

Manage individual performance by setting work-related goals, tracking personal achievements and communicating with management to report on success and identify improvement strategies

Build insurance servicing skills and knowledge by soliciting performance feedback, participating in cross-training and learning additional processes and procedures to support multiple workflows and contribute to effectiveness of team operations

Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Education
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

Ability to analyze data on a problem-to-problem/loan to loan basis and recommend solution

Experience following established procedures to complete processing tasks; experience working in the banking or insurance industry

Works independently with little supervision

Follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks that may be irregular in nature

Policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the insurance or mortgage business and organization

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
