Job Description
Total Cash Compensation (TCC) range for this position is from $114,500-171,800* per year based on experience and qualifications. *The low end of the TCC range includes base pay of $80,100 and performance-based incentives of $34,400 at 100% of sales targets. The high end of the TCC reflects base pay of $120,200 annual and performance-based incentives of $51,600 at 100% of sales targets. Incentive payments are not guaranteed and are governed by the terms of the applicable sales bonus plan which is subject to change at Allstate’s discretion.
Job Summary:
Allstate Insurance Company has an opportunity for an experience licensed Sales Leader to support the Chicagoland area, IL market and surrounding areas. The Sales Market Leader (SML) supports Allstate Exclusive Agents to consult for their business success. The market for this opportunity will be the Chicagoland area approximately 70 plus Exclusive Agency owners. The selected incumbent will have about 30% travel requirements. While this is a homebased opportunity, the selected incumbent would need to reside in the market as they will conduct about 30% field travel.
The SML supports the growth and success of the distribution channel and its new agency owners and/or existing exclusive agents. This is achieved through effective consultations, acquisition and retention process adoption, business planning and deployment/staffing strategies. Influence’s behavior changes with the ability to coach/engage agency owners. Licensing is required for this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
The SML supporting Growth agencies is responsible for “owning” the market to which they are assigned and achieving Allstate business objectives – which include but are not limited to – ensuring strategic, long-term profitable growth and increased market share. This will be achieved through:
Creating and tracking performance to a strategic business plan for the market As the Allstate Representative, consulting with Exclusive Agencies (EAs) to develop strategic business plans, provide advice on agency operations, identify issues and recommend plans for resolution, and facilitate access to Allstate resources as requested Communicating Allstate messages to EAs, apply the message to the agency-specific business model, and assisting EAs and EFSs, as requested, to create an action plan to adjust operations accordingly Prospecting for, assessing and recruiting agency candidates in accordance with the market deployment strategy
The SML travels to agencies and consults and provides advice and consultation on-site to achieve business goals.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of related experience
