As a Test Manager you will be responsible for multiple areas such as:  people leadership, financial management, testing competency development, relationship management and testing delivery management.   This Testing Manager will have delivery accountability for entire software testing life cycle of products within a specific portfolio.

Responsibilities:
•Lead, manage and develop global organization resources across all locations, all shores, including supplier resources.
•Capable of effectively managing expenses and resources to ensure budgets stay on plan and optimal utilization of resources.
•Ability to identify efficiencies to decrease cost or increase productivity without increasing cost.
•Manage work intake and ensure available capacity to deliver testing services.
•Use industry test techniques, tools, and methodology to provide ‘Best in Class’ testing services (e.g., automation opportunities)
•Establish best practices and identify process improvements for optimal technology testing services.
•Create an environment to continuously build discipline expertise across the organization to achieve quality goals and resource portability
•Partner with other leaders to standardize testing deliverables and practices

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree along with 8 years of overall software development or testing experience
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience managing a diverse skillset with a global workforce.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience in Agile(SCRUM/XP)
  • Experience in transforming the Quality Assurance team from a predominantly manual testing to an automated testing services provider.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with staff at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and extremely detail oriented.
  • This position can be located in Irving TX. Or Charlotte NC.
