Job Description

  • Preparation of files for pursuit of pleadings and motions
  • Conduct discovery, including obtaining records and drafting & reviewing documents

  • Interview clients

  • Prepare trial materials

  • Conduct legal research

  • Works under the direction and supervision of a licensed attorney.

  • Monitors and maintains compliance with Claim Litigation Management System - Team Connect.

 

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree AND one year Paralegal experience

OR

Paralegal Certificate AND two years Paralegal experience

  • Meaningful experience in a litigation setting; prior insurance defense experience strongly preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, Internet, and other web-based applications

  • The ability to accurately process a variety of tasks and high volumes of work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Possesses effective communications skills necessary to interact with coworkers, clients, claims partners and outside vendors

  • A strong commitment to exceptional customer service and quality

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
